Disneyland January 2007
For three days, my family and I went to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure in January. I took a bunch of really cool pictures and some neat videos.
Being hotel guests, we got to go to Disneyland an hour before it actually opened. And as you can see, there was no one there.
The Rocket Jets which normally has tons of people waiting in line, had no one but this woman and her daughter.
There was no mad rush for Rockin' Space Mountain which was quite a nice change from other times.
For those of you who don't know what the whole Rockin' spiel is, from January 3 to April 26 California Screamin and Space Mountain will be given new soundtracks
to go with the ride. Space Mountain will also feature new lighting effects.
It said fifteen but we were on the ride in less than five minutes. It was practically a walk-on.
Yup. Walk-on.
And no one even at the park.
The station looked the same, but the ride was completely different. To see a video of the ride, click here.
I don't remember one time where you actually can walk through Adventureland without getting trampled.

And at this time, the park was now open. 27 minutes open.
Yup. Walk-on.
So we go over to CA and there was no one there. Well, you know, less than no one.
Most know that Disneyland at opening is packed and you can't even see the rope. At CA, no one was here and we could clearly see where we couldn't go.
We were standing right at the rope.
Naturally, we made a mad dash to RCS (Rockin' California Screamin').

So even after riding RCS about 5 times, there was still no one here.
They could shut down the park and no one would care.

Oh God!! It's Bad Tower! SHAME ON YOU BAD TOWER!!!! (Bad Tower's brother, Good Tower, is at MGM-Studios in Florida.)
So we had enough of DCA. We went back to Disneyland.
Guy on Matterhorn is replenishing pyro for later.
And then, came turkeys. Big turkeys.
"I am evil turkey! Feel the whip of my long gobble!" (Or whatever the heck those dangly thingies are called.)
Went on Thunder, and it happened to die like always. We were evacuated and went through the ride through secret tunnels where we saw how they did stuff in the ride. (I win for most run-on sentence.)
Yeah. We did. We actually went back to DCA.
"I am the mighty Screamin'!!! Feel my wrath of 55 miles per hour in 5 seconds. Mwahahaha!!!!"
Just to prove that it was RCS and not CS.

This trip, I finally got to stay for the fireworks and I took some low-quality pictures.
Oh. How clever.

So the next day I got to Disneyland bright and early. Again, no one.
I went on Thunder and thankfully it didn't break down again.

Yeah, yeah. So I went to DCA again. I was in the mood for some more RCS action...
...with no one around.
I look off into the distance and I see this. The train was stuck on the hill.
They slowly but surely rolled the train back down the hill.
Finally, it was ready, but then it broke down again. I was very disappointed.
So I decided to go on the Sun Wheel which I never get to do. I took some really nice photos, too.

Nope. Still dead.
